What have we all just watched? (Spurs v Chelsea)

Ange Postecoglou has been defeated for the first time in the Premier League by Chelsea at White Heart Lane with the final score 4 - 1.

It took two read cards, Cristian Romero 33’ and Destiny Udogie 55’, for the North London team to finally be beaten, as well has two major injuries, James Madison and Micky van de Ven.

Tottenham took control of the game early, finding the net via Dejan Kulusevski in the 6th minute, before Cole Palmer equalised from the spot.

Tottenham held out, playing an incredibly high line, but eventually Jackson broke the line and scored a flurry of late goals to earn a hat trick.

The game contained five disallowed goals, which could have been the major talking point had it not been for the two dismissals.

This puts a dent in Tottenhams title hops, as a win would have placed them back on top of the league table, whilst Chelsea now enter the top half of the table and look the bring this momentum forward.

A major concern for Tottenham will be the injury of Maddison, as he has been one of their star players and will struggle without him.

VAR was called on a lot tonight, which is significant given Mikel Arteta’s recent comments about VAR after his sides defeat to Newcastle.
